As a co-creator of Skiboard Planet, I wanted to take the time to give a personal review of my skiboard of choice. At the end of last season I bought a pair of Revel8 ALP's. Since it was the end of the season I didn't get to ride them until just recently. I had been riding a set of skiboards that I had owned for more than 5 years, while I really enjoyed them it was definitly time for new equipment. After many weeks of research and talking online in different skiboarding venues and forums I made my decision. After staring at my new pair of ALP's in the basement all summer and fall, and handling them and looking at them, and waiting and waiting, the Winter came along and the test weekend arrived, and boy was I impressed!
The Revel8 ALP - Adam Lynam Pro is a great skiboard. It's 110 cm length and its tip/waist/tail of 14.5/11/14.5 makes it a choice above the rest in my mind for all mountain terrain. This board likes to go fast and has the feel of a smaller board.
While I feel a bit more forward on this skiboard, as my binding was behind center on the old pair, I'm sure that with a minimal amount of time and effort I will have the mountain mastered with this fantastic skiboard. Hats off to Revel8, you did a good job! The graphics are sound, the skiboards perform, and the rider who's namesake is this board, Adam Lynam, is one of the best in the world!
Thanks Revel8, this guy is one satisfied customer!
